Carmen Musick - Practice Manager
Carmen has worked in the veterinary field since 1998. Prior to coming to VEI she was the practice manager at a “small animal” practice in Ashburn. She was looking for something new and exciting such as equine or specialty practice and joined our team in 2014. She lives in The Plains with her husband and daughter as well as two dogs – Montee, a Golden Retriever and Einstein, a Keeshond. She also has three horses and spends most of her time at the barn. Her daughter shows in both English and Western disciplines while Carmen trail rides for fun.
Jesse Efthemes - Client Care Specialist
Jesse has been working with horses since a young age. She was first introduced at the age of 2 and has been interested ever since. She started out with hunter/jumper shows and was a member of MOC Pony Club in Middleburg, VA competing in Games Rallies and Show Jumping Rallies. She worked her way up through eventing and USDF Young Riders Dressage Championships. More recently she decided to pursue her interests in veterinary care and working to become a licensed vet tech. In her free time, Jesse can be found out at the family farm in Nokesville, VA riding her beloved buckskin pony, Goldmine.
Sarah Crocker - Tech Support
Sarah is a friendly "horse person" from New England. She first rode at the age of nine and has never stopped since!
In college, she played polo and was ranked third for women collegiate players while completing a degree in bio-chemistry. In 2005, after a decade of dedication to a large New England equestrian facility, she left its seriously long winters for the year-round equestrian life here in Virginia. Horses continue to be a passion and riding is part of everyday. She is either trail riding for fitness, in a training session, fox hunting or acting silly by bareback riding in the snow or nearby lake.
Sarah is a valued part-time employee at Virginia Equine Imaging, finding it both fulfilling and educational.

Dr Allen and his associates are wonderful. I told my barrel horse for a second option with his navicular issues. To soon to see if it will work but the knowledge this man has. well worth the trip.
